Youth baseball league gets two new fields
The fields at Hollis Park open in the spring, ending the shared schedule with the softball league.
Two new baseball fields at Hollis Park will open in April, giving the youth league its own diamonds for the first time.
Until now the league shared fields with adult softball, which pushed some games past nine at night. The new schedule ends all youth games by eight.
Volunteers will plant the outfield grass this month. The league is still looking for coaches for its youngest division.
