Library opens a maker space with two 3D printers

Card holders can book an hour at a time after a short safety session.

The main library has turned its old periodicals room into a maker space with two 3D printers, a vinyl cutter and a sewing machine.

Anyone with a library card can book the equipment for an hour after a twenty-minute safety session, held every Tuesday evening.

Materials are free for the first month. After that the library will charge for printing filament by weight.
