Middle school coding club builds a bus tracker
Students wrote a small web page that shows when the next school bus will reach each stop.
Members of the coding club at Eastside Middle School built a web page that estimates when each school bus will reach its stops, using the times drivers report by radio.
The page is a class project, not an official district service, but the transportation office has asked to see it.
The club meets on Wednesdays after school and is open to all grades. This term it is learning how to test its own code.
